COMMITTEE REPORTS:

- Safety/Patrol - Paul Schlatter , it was suggested that the patrol officer check again the placement of buoys and move as necessary within the legal limits of each state and as needed to help control the cutting and spreading of the Eurasian Milfoil fragmentation by boats, skiers and jet skies. The DNR representatives agreed that as long as the buoys were within the legal limits of each state they did not care where they were placed.

- Fish/Walleye - Gary Zandstra reported a regular survey of the fish population will be completed, and we will continue stocking with walleye until we have a sustainable population. Three thousand walleye were stocked last year.

Weeds - Aquatic Weed Control (Jim Donahoe) sprayed first week of June for the Eurasian Water Milfoil only. It reportedly takes two to three weeks to see the results. If native weeds are a problem in a specific area those cottage owners need to contact Aquatic Weed Control and make arrangements as a group to have their area treated. Residence need to be responsible for keeping their beach area clean, and dispose of the dead weeds. Working together with your neighbors is the answer.

There is no promise we will get the LARE grant next year so we must continue with collection fees.

- Insurance - Dave Stang speaking in place of the absent Steve Boomer, said the new insurance deal fell through at the last minute. We will continue with the old $1,900 for $ 1 million coverage with $2,500 deductible.

MOTION: Rick Stander moved to continue with current company, seconded , so moved.
